Tully loves a good chase and often there are roos at our local oval. I've made sure we stay away from them so there has zero rehearsal of chasing them over the last few months.
This morning it was foggy and she saw the roo, started to run then turned away and ran back to me on her own with no input from me. How's that for the power of concept training and brain reshaping!!

I adopted Dolly when she was 14 months old, 3 months before the first covid lockdown. Dolly developed aggression to other dogs, she had bitten a few people and I had nowhere to go. All the dog schools were closed. The one trainer I found told me it was temperament, untrainable. She would have to be muzzled from now on. So I muzzle trained her and had very lonely walks away from Dolly's friends. Then I found STAS, and then TA and the NBN bootcamp. Especially the NBN Bootcamp gave me so much tools, strategies, insight and a strong sense of community in the Facebook Group. I had fun again playing games on walks with Dolly and celebrated successes with the community online. I love sharing video's! We have played proximity games, power poses, DMT, disengagement games, dimmer switch games, fitness games, and many more! I moved out of the city and I felt comfortable ditching the muzzle. Dolly hasn't bitten anyone in 2 years. She actually played with a strange dog yesterday and disengaged from a second dog after some growling with my help. I had a BehaVet consult last month and continue to work on both our skills. I will start PDT next summer! Absolute Dogs has changed my life with Dolly for 100% and I am ever grateful!
